This specialized center empowers students from diverse academic backgrounds to prepare for UPSC, MPSC, and other competitive examinations through comprehensive training programs. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mahesh M. Bhagwat, IPS (Additional DGP, Telangana) and Guest of Honour Dr. Sonali Jawanjal, IRS (Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Pune). Key university leaders including Dr. Ravi Joshi, Prof. B.B. Ahuja, Mr. Vishal Chaudhari, and Dr. Ajit Dhere participated in this milestone event, marking JSPM University's commitment to competitive examination excellence.
JSPM University Pune has signed MoU with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region)
JSPM University Pune signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region) on April 5th, 2025, introducing the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) across all 78 JSPM institutes. This strategic partnership provides final-year students with 6-12 months of real industry experience, government-supported stipends, and official Certificate of Proficiency. According to Shri Pramod N. Jumale, Director BOAT(WR), students will receive on-the-job training in actual working conditions, enhancing their field knowledge and job readiness. This collaboration aligns with NEP 2020's vision of bridging education-employment gaps, marking another milestone in developing industry-ready professionals through experiential learning opportunities.

JSPM University proudly inaugurated the IEEE Student Branch alongside IEEE AP-S and MTT-S Student Branch Chapters on December 12, 2025, at Kautilya Hall. This landmark event, hosted by the Faculty of Science & Technology's School of Electrical & Communication Sciences, welcomed distinguished global experts including Prof. Christophe Fumeaux (IEEE AP-S President), Prof. Branislav M. Notaros, IEEE Fellow Dr. Ajay K. Poddar, and Dr. Naresh Chand (VP, IEEE Photonics Society). Industry leaders like Shri Raghavan Muralidharan (CTO, Tata Power) joined esteemed academicians from IIT Delhi, IIT Patna, University of Waterloo, and San Diego State University. JSPM University's FBMC Hosts Expert Session on Constitution of India
The Faculty of Business Management and Commerce (FBMC) at JSPM University organized an enlightening expert session on the Constitution of India on 27 November 2025. Coordinated by Dr. Uzma Shaikh, the event was held under the visionary guidance of Dr. Prabha Singh, Dean, FBMC, who consistently inspires academic excellence.
The guest speaker, Mr. Rushal Anand Heena, Welfare Officer, delivered a comprehensive and engaging presentation on the Indian Constitution, covering its structure, fundamental significance, and relevance in contemporary society. He provided detailed explanations ensuring conceptual clarity for all participants.
A memorable highlight was the collective recitation of the Preamble in English by Dr. Uzma Shaikh and in Marathi by Mr. Ashish Shejwal, Faculty of Business Management and Commerce, creating a profound sense of unity and constitutional awareness. Dr. Prabha Singh felicitated the speaker with a shawl and sapling as appreciation. The session successfully instilled constitutional values among students, proving highly informative and enriching.
Dr. S.B. Nimse 75th Birth Anniversary
The 75th birth anniversary of Hon. Dr. S.B. Nimse, Ex-Vice Chancellor of Swami Ramanand Teerth University, Nanded and Lucknow University, was celebrated on 14th November 2025. The distinguished gathering was presided over by Hon. Dr. N.K. Thakare, First Vice Chancellor of NMU Jalgaon. Padma Vibhushan Sharadchandraji Pawar, President of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, felicitated Dr. Nimse. Over 20 Vice Chancellors and international delegates attended.
