JSPM (Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal) Pune stands as a beacon of educational excellence, guided by visionary leadership, notably Prof. (Dr.) T. J. Sawant, the Founder Secretary of JSPM Group of Institutes, Pune. Since its establishment in 1998, under his guidance, JSPM Pune has continually evolved and flourished. It has evolved into a multidisciplinary institution offering a diverse array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various fields, including Engineering, Management, Pharmacy,  Arts & Commerce, Education, Health Sciences, Law and Computer Applications.

History of JSPM

JSPM started its journey modestly in 2001 under the able and visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. T. J. Sawant. The first educational institution we established was Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering at Tathawade in Pune. With every batch delivered successfully, we became a name to reckon with. Rajarshi Shahu College transformed into a name synonymous with an excellent education. After that, there is been no looking back!

Continued Saga of Growth and Success

Today, we’ve become a full-fledged and credible university with numerous institutions under our umbrella. We’ve set up campuses across various locations, including Tathawade, Hadapsar, Wagholi, Bavdhan, Narhe and Barshi. While we began with engineering, we did not confine ourselves to it. Over the years, we’ve successfully ventured into various other streams like management research and studies, pharmacy, and schooling as well.

We’ve shaped the careers of over 50,000 students, in which our employee strength (over 10,000) has played an instrumental role. We attribute our success to five primary factors – our quality of education, supportive learning environment, holistic approach, people-centricity and visionary management team.
