Central Research Facility Center
Introduction
Research explores the unexplored, explains the unexplained, and provides the scientific base. Methodical research & Research Methods are essential to bring research work to global acceptance and to put forth the principles of innovation along the lines of evidence-based practices. There is an ambiguity in understanding the recent multidisciplinary & interdisciplinary research that led to diversified practices. Several hundreds of research activities have been carried out in the form of PG/PhD Dissertation/Thesis and other research activities. It is a teamwork and the research carried out in collaboration with allied sciences may be translational. CRF is extending research facilities with its six sub-units: Central Instrumentation Center (CIE), Innovation & Design Thinking Laboratory, Research Scientific Publication & Documentation Centre, Incubation & Simulation Center, IPR & Patent Center & Ph.D. Programme center.

Our Research Philosophy
- Research is an essential component of the university mission – the creation and dissemination of knowledge.
- Develop a robust research plan with respect to resources, capabilities, opportunities forecasted and careful planning to execute.
- Research attitude is a prime concern for the recognition, retention and recruitment of scholars.
- Research needs time and a conducive environment; therefore, the institute facilitates human resources such that reasonable balance shall exist in teaching–learning duties and research outcomes.
- Opportunities for collaboration are being explored not only within various academic departments but also with the outside world.
- Resources especially in terms of funds is a key concern; therefore, the institute has a systematic and dynamic approach to generating funds for facilitating research.
- The monitoring and evaluation parameters are flexible to promote research.
- To facilitate the researchers to rise at performance indicators set by the University.
- To proceed with these parameters and accomplish the set objectives, the institute is setting up an administrative facilitator in the form of ‘Central Research Facility Center’.
