JSPM University proudly celebrated its Annual Sports Felicitation on 11th April 2025, recognizing the exceptional talents and dedication of our athletes.

We were honored to have Padma Shri & Arjuna Awardee Shri. Murlikant Petkar as our Chief Guest, whose inspiring journey left everyone motivated. Adding to the splendor of the event was the presence of Prof. B.B. Ahuja, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, JSPM University Pune, who shared words of encouragement and support.

JSPM University, Pune inaugurated its Centre for Competitive Examination Studies (CCES) on April 21, 2025, coinciding with National Civil Services Day. The center is established to empower students from various academic backgrounds to prepare for UPSC, MPSC, and other competitive exams.

The inauguration was led by Mahesh M. Bhagwat, IPS (Additional DGP, Telangana) as Chief Guest, and Dr. Sonali Jawanjal, IRS (Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Pune) as Guest of Honour. The event also featured key university figures like Dr. Ravi Joshi, Prof. B. B. Ahuja, Mr. Vishal Chaudhari, and Dr. Ajit Dhere.

On 5th April 2025 , JSPM University has signed MoU with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region), an autonomous body under India's Ministry of Education!

This partnership introduces the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP), giving our students:
* 6-12 months of real industry experience in their final year
* Government-supported stipends
* Official Certificate of Proficiency
* Enhanced job readiness

"Final year students will receive on-the-job training in real working conditions, helping them become more knowledgeable in their fields," says Shri Pramod N. Jumale, Director, BOAT(WR).

This collaboration across all 78 JSPM institutes perfectly aligns with NEP 2020's vision of bridging education-employment gaps.

The recent Solapur Principals' Meet held on 14th May 2025, marked a significant milestone in JSPM's unwavering commitment to transforming education through a student-centered approach. The Solapur Principals' Meet served as a powerful platform to recognize and celebrate this shared vision. JSPM University is proud to announce that Mr. Parth Khillari and Ms. Anushka Kand, students of Second Year B.Sc. (Forensic Science), JSPM University Pune have secured the First Prize in the Oral Presentation Category at the prestigious All India Forensic Science Summit, organized by the National Forensic Science University (NFSU), New Delhi.
Under the expert mentorship of Mr. Swaroop Sonone, the students presented a research project that was lauded by a panel of eminent scientists, academicians, and professionals in the field of forensic science. Their presentation showcased innovative thinking, scientific rigor, and a deep understanding of contemporary challenges in forensic investigation.
The summit brought together participants from leading institutions across India, and this recognition highlights the academic excellence and research capabilities fostered at JSPM University Pune.
Mr. Swaroop Sonone, mentor to the award-winning team, shared his thoughts:
