University Level Initiatives

In alignment with our commitment to social responsibility, the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS) undertook a compassionate initiative by organizing a donation drive for the Jethrath Old Age Home. A considerable number of both staff and faculty members enthusiastically participated in this noble cause.

As part of this benevolent effort, students, and faculty from JSPM University joined hands to visit the old age home. In the spirit of Diwali, they distributed sweets, bringing warmth and joy to the residents. Additionally, a significant contribution was made in the form of a refrigerator, a practical donation that was warmly received by the Old Age Home.

This collaborative endeavour showcases SLASS's commitment to making a positive impact beyond academic realms. By fostering a culture of empathy and community engagement, we aim to instil values of social responsibility among our students and faculty, contributing to a more compassionate and interconnected society.
