Faculty Achievements

The Faculty of Education and Humanities at JSPM University is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its esteemed members. These accomplishments reflect the faculty’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and impactful research.

Dr. Reshma M. Sanadi also launched a SWAYAM course on Marathi Cinema at Savitribai Phule Pune University and she also received the Faculty Excellence Award from JSPM University.
Dr. Jay Jivani from the English Department received an International Fellowship Award for the Lavender Languages Institute (LLI) Summer 2026 programme, which fully covered the $350 programme fee, and he also received an International Fellowship Award with a fully funded bursary (£800) from University of Oxford to participate online in the Digital Humanities Oxford Summer School (DHOxSS) 2026.
Dr. Rashmi Achmare received the Distinguished Woman Researcher in English Literature (International Level) award at the 11th Venus International Women Awards held in Chennai and she also received the Women Literary Excellence Award 2026 (National Level) from The Indian Forum for Social.
Ms. Swapnali Kulkarni and Ms. Sheetal Athalye have been awarded Second Prize for Best Paper Presentation at Amity University, Chhattisgarh in the Three days International Conference on "Creative Design Practices, Interdisciplinary Research and Emerging Technologies."
Ms. Swapnali Kulkarni has received the “Innovative Professor of the Year” award in the field of Fashion Design by Scientific Laurels.
Ms. Arpita Kaswa, JSPM University Pune, received the Best Paper Presentation Award in the Professional category at the 1st International Conference on Psychology in Inclusive Education: Handling Psycho-Social Issues in Educational Settings, jointly organized by the School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University and NIEPVD, Dehradun, for the presentation titled “Exploring Attitudes & Barriers to Inclusive Education in Higher Education.”
Prof. Vijayanta Bhurle was selected for the “Gunphan Shikshak Ratna Puraskar 2026” by Gunphan Academy in recognition of contributions made in the field of education.
