A two-day Skill Enhancement Programme on Forma for Construction was held on 7th and 8th August 2026 at JSPM University Pune, jointly organized by the School of Civil and Environmental Sciences in collaboration with Autodesk Education Experiences. Faculty, M.Tech students, and research scholars gained practical exposure to this cloud-based construction management platform through live sessions, real-world case studies, and a certification-based hands-on module.

The 41st Student Chapter of the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) at our institution was officially commenced on 5th September 2026. This initiative marks a significant step toward promoting geotechnical knowledge, research activities, and professional interaction among civil engineering students.

The establishment of the IGS Student Chapter aims to provide a platform for students to engage in technical activities such as workshops, expert lectures, case studies, and site visits related to geotechnical engineering. It encourages students to actively participate in professional development and industry interaction.
