Establishment of JSPM–BOSCH Joint Certification Center (JCC)

JSPM University Pune, in collaboration with Bosch India, has launched the Joint Certification Center (JCC), a transformative initiative designed to strengthen industry-academia integration. The center aims to equip students with future-ready skills through hands-on training, industry-oriented certification, and exposure to globally aligned technologies and practices. By focusing on practical learning and technical excellence, JSPM University Pune continues to enhance student employability and innovation-driven education. The initiative has received recognition in leading publications such as Loksatta and Prabhat, reinforcing the university’s commitment to delivering impactful, career-focused education aligned with evolving industry demands.

Inauguration of CAD/CAM Lab at JSPM University

The School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Sciences at JSPM University, Pune, inaugurated its new CAD/CAM Laboratory on 10th October 2025. The ceremony was graced by Prof. R. S. Deshpande, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and included a traditional lamp lighting and welcome address. The lab is equipped with advanced computer systems and industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Creo, Autodesk Fusion 360, and ANSYS. It aims to provide hands-on training in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, simulation, and manufacturing, bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements for engineering students.
