The School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Sciences at JSPM University, Pune, inaugurated its new CAD/CAM Laboratory on 10th October 2025. The ceremony was graced by Prof. R. S. Deshpande, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and included a traditional lamp lighting and welcome address. The lab is equipped with advanced computer systems and industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Creo, Autodesk Fusion 360, and ANSYS. It aims to provide hands-on training in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, simulation, and manufacturing, bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements for engineering students.
