In association with Mahindra & Mahindra, the Nandi Foundation conducted a dedicated one-week training program for female students at JSPM University. This initiative was specifically designed to empower young women with essential professional skills and career readiness. The comprehensive curriculum covered professional training, soft skills development, resume building, communication skills, and workplace etiquette. Through interactive sessions and practical activities, participants gained confidence and developed a clear understanding of industry expectations. A major focus of the program was grooming students for professional environments, enhancing their presentation abilities, interpersonal communication, and interview readiness. The training emphasized holistic growth, ensuring that participants were not only technically prepared but also mentally and socially equipped to face real-world challenges. This initiative plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, enabling young women to emerge as confident, skilled, and job-ready professionals ready to excel in their chosen careers.

JSPM University Pune successfully organized the Industry Open Day – 2026, witnessing active participation from approximately 40 companies representing diverse sectors including IT, software development, data analytics, core engineering, and emerging technologies. The event featured presentations, live demonstrations, and interactive sessions where industry professionals shared insights into current market trends, skill expectations, and career pathways. A significant highlight was the internship opportunities extended to students; several companies shortlisted candidates based on their skills, academic records, and engagement during the event. These internships serve as a vital stepping stone for students to acquire hands-on professional experience. Moreover, many participating organizations confirmed that students demonstrating excellent performance during internships would be considered for future full-time placements. This structured pathway from internships to employment greatly enhances students' career prospects. The Industry Open Day successfully bridged the gap between academia and industry, equipping students with practical exposure and meaningful professional connections.

On 31 January 2026, JSPM University organized a focused two‑hour seminar on Microsoft and CISCO global certification awareness at Chanakya Hall. Led by Prof. (Dr.) Satish N. Gujar, the event targeted 94 MSc and MCA students from the Faculty of Science and Technology. The session covered certification prerequisites, exam structures, subject details, and real-world career enhancement examples. An interactive Q&A segment allowed students to clarify doubts directly with the coordinator. Key takeaways included a strong understanding of certification value and a structured roadmap for certification planning. The seminar concluded with active participation and highly positive student feedback, reaffirming JSPM University’s commitment to professional skill development.

On 22 October 2024, JSPM University’s Faculty of Science and Technology, in association with KasNet Technologies Pvt. Ltd., conducted a seminar on Microsoft and CISCO global certifications. Coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) Satish N. Gujar, the offline event at Chanakya Hall attracted 342 BSc, MSc, MCA, BCA, and B.Tech students. Guest speaker Amol Aher (Director, KasNet) highlighted internship modules including Agile, Microsoft PL‑900, AZ‑900, AI‑900, and DP‑900. Students learned certification prerequisites, exam formats, and career benefits through real-life examples. The interactive session received overwhelmingly positive feedback, equipping participants with a clear roadmap for global certification success.

The BCA Department of JSPM University organized several impactful activities during 2025 to promote student engagement, appreciation, and career development. A Teacher’s Day celebration was held on 5th September 2025 to honor teachers and express gratitude for their contribution to students’ lives. The department also arranged an industrial visit to Infosys, Pune, providing students with valuable industry exposure and practical insights into the IT sector. Additionally, on 17th October 2025, in collaboration with Campus Connect, the department conducted the “Women’s Rising and Career Craft” workshop, attended by over 250 participants, focusing on women’s empowerment, skill enhancement, and career growth.

The industry visit to Irth Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. was highly informative and beneficial for the students of B.Sc. (Computer Science). It provided them with valuable exposure to real-time software development practices, corporate work culture, and industry expectations.Such initiatives play an important role in enhancing students’ practical knowledge, industry readiness, and career awareness. The department looks forward to organizing more such activities in the future to strengthen the connection between academics and industry.

Feedback collected from BSc and MSc Mathematics and Statistics students after the educational visit to the India Science Festival (ISF) 2026 held at IISER Pune on 10th January 2026 revealed a high level of satisfaction and academic enrichment. Students reported that the expert lectures, panel discussions, and science exhibitions were highly informative and helped them understand the practical applications of Mathematics and Statistics in areas such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, healthcare, climate studies, and interdisciplinary research. Interaction with scientists and researchers enhanced their conceptual clarity and research awareness, while exposure to the academic environment of IISER Pune motivated them to pursue higher studies, research, and competitive examinations. Overall, students felt that the visit successfully complemented classroom learning, broadened their academic perspective, and strongly recommended organizing similar educational visits in the future.
