The Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) department of JSPM University organized an industrial visit to BAAP Company in Sangamner on 24th January 2026. A total of 127 students accompanied by 9 faculty members participated in this educational tour. The primary objective was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge acquired in classrooms and real-world IT industry applications. Students were given a guided tour of the company's facilities and had the opportunity to interact with professional trainers and industry personnel. These interactions provided valuable insights into corporate workflows, advanced technologies, and industry expectations. The visit also helped students understand the practical aspects of software development, IT infrastructure, and professional work culture. Through live demonstrations and expert sessions, participants gained clarity on emerging trends in the information technology sector. The experience not only enhanced their academic perspectives but also motivated them to align their skill development with current industry demands. The department extends sincere gratitude to BAAP Company for hosting and supporting this enriching learning opportunity.
Student Orientation Program
JSPM University organized an industrial visit to ProAzure Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Pune, to provide students practical exposure to the latest IT technologies and processes. The visit enabled meaningful interactions with industry professionals, helping students understand real‑world work culture and career trends. Key outcomes included enhanced technical knowledge, development of soft skills like communication and teamwork, and increased employability. Students were inspired to think innovatively and solve real‑world problems. The event was coordinated by Dr. S. N. Gujar, Mr. S. R. Bhandari, Dr. A. W. Shaikh, Mrs. Kshitija Potdar, Dr. G. A. Patil, and Dr. Rahul Chakre. The visit concluded as a valuable learning experience, with gratitude extended to ProAzure for their support.
Internal Hackathon
The Internal Hackathon Competition at JSPM University is a dynamic platform designed to foster innovation, creativity, and technical excellence among students. The event brings together enthusiastic participants from various disciplines to collaboratively solve real-world challenges within a limited timeframe.
During the hackathon, students work in teams to ideate, design, and develop innovative solutions in domains such as software development, artificial intelligence, web and mobile applications, and emerging technologies. Guided by mentors and faculty members, participants enhance their problem-solving abilities, coding skills, and teamwork while gaining hands-on experience in a competitive yet collaborative environment.
Hindustan Uniliver Limited - fostering entrepreneurship and skill development among students.
The EAP – HUL NEISBUD Initiative at JSPM University is a significant step toward fostering entrepreneurship and skill development among students. Conducted in collaboration with Hindustan Unilever Limited and National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, this program aims to empower young minds with the knowledge, tools, and mindset required to become successful entrepreneurs.
Under this initiative, students are exposed to structured training sessions, workshops, and interactive activities focusing on business development, innovation, leadership, and startup management. The program emphasizes practical learning through real-world case studies, mentorship from industry experts, and hands-on entrepreneurial exercises.

The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the seminar's effectiveness in meeting its objectives.
Dr. Jayant Narlikar Memorial Lecture Series
The Dr. Jayant Narlikar Memorial Lecture Series – Talk 2 Date: 13th August 2025 Venue: Gat No. 719/1 & 2, Wagholi–Pune–Ahilyanagar Road, Pune 412207 The second talk of The Dr. Jayant Narlikar Memorial Lecture Series truly lived up to its theme — “Illuminating Minds”. The session featured the distinguished Prof. Dr. Sanjay Dhoble, who delivered a thought-provoking lecture on “Synthesis and Multiple Applications of Phosphors.” Dr. Dhoble captivated the audience with his deep insights into the fascinating world of phosphors — materials that play a vital role in lighting, display technologies, and beyond. His presentation bridged theory and application, sparking curiosity among B.Tech. and B.Sc. students, research scholars, and faculty members alike. The talk not only shed light on cutting-edge developments in phosphor technology but also inspired participants to explore innovative research possibilities in materials science and photonics. During academics our school conducted One credit Course . During the orientation, students are familiarized with the university’s curriculum, academic policies, campus facilities, and support services. Faculty members and administrative staff interact with students, providing guidance on course structures, evaluation methods, and career pathways. Disccussed on various points regarding academics and overall future upcoming career opportunities . This course is done in Computer Lab along with the JSPM Universities faculties .
