The School of Civil and Environmental Sciences (SCES), JSPM University, Pune, in association with the IGS Student Chapter and CASTLE JSPM University, is organizing a hands-on training workshop on “Triaxial Testing Apparatus and Result Interpretation.”

Date: Monday, 13th April 2026
Venue: A-Building, Geotechnical Engineering Lab, SCES, JSPM University Pune

This workshop is designed to provide practical exposure and in-depth understanding of geotechnical testing. Participants will gain hands-on experience through live demonstrations, apparatus handling, testing procedures, and result interpretation.

Eligibility:
Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD students, along with faculty members, industry professionals, and researchers.

Seats are limited to 20 participants and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

All participants will receive a certificate upon completion.

Our students from the School of Civil and Environmental Sciences recently had the privilege to attend CONSTRO 2024, India's largest Integrated Expo of Construction, Methods, Materials, and Technologies. Held at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Center (PIECC), Moshi, Pune, Maharashtra. This prestigious event provided an unparalleled platform for our students to gather insights into the latest advancements in the construction industry.

Throughout the expo, our students actively participated in various knowledge-sharing sessions, where they had the opportunity to engage with industry experts and gain valuable insights into emerging trends and technologies shaping the construction sector. Additionally, they were inspired by the diverse range of student awards presented for the best projects, serving as a motivating force to strive for excellence in their academic and professional endeavors.

Overall, the industrial visit to CONSTRO 2024 was a rewarding experience for our students, offering them a glimpse into the cutting-edge innovations and best practices driving the construction industry forward.

Our M. Tech Civil students had an eye-opening experience at Precast India Pvt. Ltd., Kesanand.

With students specializing in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation Engineering, and Real Estate Valuation, each group had a unique focus during the visit:
