ABOUT DIPNOVA 2026

DIPNOVA 2026 is a flagship innovation and sustainability-driven event presented by JSPM University Pune, marking the institution’s 3rd Foundation Day.

This State Level Project Competition for Diploma students across Maharashtra aligns with the visionary theme “Viksit Bharat 2047”.

DIPNOVA 2026 empowers young innovators to contribute to nation-building through creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Guidelines, Rules & Regulations
General Rules (Applicable to All Participants)
The competition is open only to Diploma students from recognized polytechnic / technical institutions.
Students may participate individually or in teams.
Each team must consist of minimum 1 and maximum 4 students.
Inter-departmental teams are allowed.
Teams must complete online registration before the deadline.
Changes in team members after registration are not permitted.
Incomplete registrations may be rejected.
Certificates will be provided to all participants.
Participants must report to the venue on time.
All participants must produce valid College Identity Cards while reporting.
Entry fee per entry: Rs.200/- (Non-refundable, Online payment only)
Judges' decisions shall be final and binding.
Any misconduct or violation of rules will lead to immediate disqualification.
Organizers reserve the right to:
Modify rules if necessary
Disqualify teams not complying with guidelines
Project Competition – Specific Rules
The project must be original and developed by the students.
Projects may be:
Working prototypes
Hardware models
Software applications
Simulation-based or conceptual models (with justification)
Teams must bring their own laptops, adapters, extension cords if required.
Projects will be judged based on:
Innovation & creativity
Technical knowledge
Practical implementation
Problem relevance & impact
Presentation skills
Teamwork and clarity of explanation
All participants must follow safety guidelines during setup and demonstration.
Projects involving hazardous materials must be declared in advance.
Industry Sponsored Projects not feasible to exhibit may be presented via:
Presentation + Actual working video
Mandatory sponsor letter stating reason for non-exhibition
Evaluation will be conducted during the exhibition.
All team members must be present with the model during evaluation.
Reporting Date & Time: 28 February 2026 at 8:00 am
Poster Competition – Specific Rules
Posters must be related to the selected theme/Domain.
Poster size (recommended): A1 size (60 cm × 85 cm) – Portrait orientation
Poster must clearly include:
Title of project
Team members & institute name
Objectives
Methodology / Concept
Results/Outcomes
Conclusion
Posters should be:
Neatly designed
Clearly readable from 2-4 meters distance
All participants must remain present during poster evaluation.
Any poster containing offensive or misleading content will be disqualified.
