MoU

  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with “Dard Se Humdard Tak”

The School of Law is proud to collaborate with Dard Se Humdard Tak, a non-governmental organization dedicated to providing legal assistance and support to individuals who are unable to afford access to justice. This partnership reflects the School’s commitment to social responsibility, legal aid, and community engagement.

Under this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), students are given the opportunity to actively participate in legal aid initiatives and outreach programs conducted by the organization. Through this collaboration, students engage in activities such as legal awareness drives, client interaction under supervision, documentation support, and assistance in ongoing cases. This hands-on exposure enables them to understand the real challenges faced by marginalized sections of society and the importance of accessible justice.

The MoU also facilitates internships, workshops, and training sessions conducted by legal professionals and social workers associated with the NGO. These initiatives help students develop practical skills, ethical understanding, and a sense of empathy—qualities essential for a responsible legal professional.

This partnership not only strengthens experiential learning but also instills in students the value of using law as a tool for social change. By working closely with Dard Se Humdard Tak, the School of Law continues to bridge the gap between legal education and societal needs, contributing towards a more inclusive and equitable justice system.
