Mock Trial Conducted in Collaboration with School of Law and School of Forensic Science

The School of Law, in collaboration with the School of Forensic Science, successfully conducted a Mock Trial on 11th April 2026, offering students a dynamic platform to experience the practical application of legal and forensic principles.

The event was designed to simulate real courtroom proceedings, where students actively participated in various roles including judges, advocates, witnesses, and forensic experts. The mock trial revolved around a criminal case scenario in which forensic evidence played a pivotal role, thereby highlighting the critical intersection between law and forensic science.

Law students demonstrated their advocacy skills through arguments, examination, and cross-examination, while students from the School of Forensic Science presented expert opinions and scientific analysis of evidence. This interdisciplinary approach enriched the learning experience and provided a comprehensive understanding of how forensic science supports the justice delivery system.

Faculty members from both schools mentored and guided the participants, ensuring procedural accuracy and conceptual clarity throughout the proceedings.
