Fort Making Competition on Shivaji Jayanti
On the occasion of Shivaji Jayanti, FY LL.B and FY BBA LLB students participated in a Fort Making Competition, showcasing creativity and teamwork while celebrating the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The students presented an impressive fort model reflecting historical significance and architectural detail. Competing at the university level, they secured the 3rd Prize, bringing pride to the institution.
This achievement highlights the students’ creativity, collaboration, and appreciation of cultural heritage.
The Literati Cell of the Department of English, School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Education and Humanities, JSPM University Pune, successfully organized an offline Debate Competition on 18th September 2025 in the Seminar Hall, Main Building. The competition focused on the topic, “Should social media platforms be regulated by the government to curb fake news and hate speech?” and witnessed enthusiastic participation from UG, PG students, and research scholars. The event aimed to enhance students’ critical thinking, argumentative presentation, and public speaking skills. The debate was judged by Ms. Arpita Kaswa and Mrs. Madhumita Rane. Students actively engaged in structured discussions and rebuttals, showcasing excellent communication and analytical abilities. Raj Shah from the School of Law secured the first position, followed by Vikas Lalaram Choudhari and Kunal Hemraj Joshi. The event concluded successfully with positive participation and valuable learning outcomes for all attendees.
