JSPM University demonstrated its creative leadership at Event Theme 2026, where a delegation of 300 students and faculty, led by Dean Rajkumar Deshpande, bridged the gap between academia and industry. The university’s Animation Department achieved massive success, winning the Gold Award in AI Art and Best Stop Motion Film for "The Endless Lap". Through masterclasses on Netflix’s Kurukshetra and VFX breakdowns, students gained invaluable professional insights. This landmark participation emphasized JSPM’s commitment to industry-integrated learning, securing multiple accolades in CGI and Design while fostering vital professional networks for future-ready digital innovators.

Maths on the Move! – Foundation Day Innovative Activity

On the 3rd Foundation Day of JSPM University, the Department of Mathematics organized "Maths on the Move!," an innovative activity where students approached people on campus to discuss mathematical concepts in a fun, engaging manner. Participants created creative reels showcasing mathematical knowledge, confidence, and communication skills. A parallel Mathematical 3D Drawing Competition featured geometrical solids, optical illusions, tessellations, and real-life mathematical models. Both activities aimed to break traditional classroom boundaries, making mathematics interactive and enjoyable. Outcomes included improved conceptual clarity, public speaking, teamwork, creativity, and confidence. The event received positive feedback, with students requesting more such knowledge-based competitions in the future.
