The School of Forensic Sciences at JSPM University is dedicated to supporting students throughout their academic journey with comprehensive services that promote learning, well-being, and career readiness.

Academic Support

  • Mentorship Program – Each student is assigned a faculty mentor for academic guidance and career planning.
  • Subject Tutorials and Remedial Classes – Special sessions are conducted for students needing extra help in core subjects.
  • Library & Digital Resources Access – Extensive access to forensic science journals, databases, case archives, and e-books.
  • Syllabus Handbooks and Course Materials – All materials are made available through the learning portal and notice board.

Laboratory & Technical Support

  • Lab Assistance – Trained lab technicians and faculty help students during practicals.
  • Instrument Training – Step-by-step tutorials and hands-on workshops for handling advanced instruments (GC-MS, FTIR, Cyanoacrylate chamber, etc.).
  • Lab Manuals and SOPs – Standard Operating Procedures are provided for all core experiments.

  • Internship Guidance Cell – Assistance with securing internships at FSLs, police departments, hospitals, and legal bodies.
  • Resume Building & Soft Skills Training – Workshops on CV writing, interview techniques, and communication skills.
  • Campus Placement Coordination – Tie-ups with forensic labs, legal firms, and private agencies.

Counseling & Wellness

  • Student Counseling Services – Access to professional psychological counselors for academic stress, anxiety, or personal concerns.
  • Peer Support Network – Senior students act as buddies for new students to ease transition and academic pressure.

Digital & Online Services

  • E-Learning Portal Access – Google Classroom, MOODLE, and digital attendance systems for blended learning.

Grievance Redressal & Feedback
