The English Association Literati at JSPM University has been established to provide students with a dynamic platform to enhance their creativity and strengthen their interpersonal skills. It serves as a vibrant space where students can explore, express, and refine their talents through a variety of engaging academic and co-curricular activities.
Literati is dedicated to nurturing confidence and effective communication by encouraging active participation in public forums. Through its thoughtfully curated events and initiatives, the association enables students to grow both academically and personally.
By fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and self-expression, Literati plays a vital role in shaping confident, articulate individuals who are well-prepared to excel in the professional world beyond campus.
Meraki Counselling Cell
At the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS), we are proud to announce the inauguration of the Meraki Counselling Cell, a dedicated initiative for the mental well-being of our students. Recognizing the importance of mental health in the overall development of individuals, this counselling cell is established to provide a supportive and confidential space for students to address their emotional and psychological needs.
Named "Meraki," reflecting the essence of putting heart and soul into one's work, the counselling cell is committed to fostering a nurturing environment where students can freely express themselves, seek guidance, and receive professional support. Our aim is to prioritize the mental well-being of our students, ensuring they have access to resources that contribute to their personal growth and academic success. The Meraki Counselling Cell stands as a testament to our commitment to holistic education, acknowledging that emotional well-being is a crucial aspect of a student's journey through higher learning.
The Book & Movie Club, Katharang, aims to bring together the worlds of literature and cinema, offering students a unique, enriching, and intellectually engaging experience. Through shared narratives, reflective discussions, and creative activities, the club seeks to nurture a culture of learning, inclusivity, and artistic appreciation across disciplines.
Envisioned as a vibrant cultural hub on campus, Katharang will create opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds and interests to connect through a shared love for stories. By encouraging both literary and cinematic exploration, the club aspires to foster meaningful dialogue, strengthen community bonds, and promote intellectual growth. Ultimately, it seeks to deepen students’ understanding of how narratives shape human experience and perspectives.
Theatre Club – Rangmanch
The Theatre Club, Rangmanch, is envisioned as a vibrant platform that extends beyond mere entertainment to foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration among students. Through active engagement in theatre, students will have the opportunity to explore the depth of literature and performance while simultaneously developing essential life skills such as effective communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence.
The club aims to contribute to the formation of well-rounded individuals who are expressive, culturally aware, and socially responsible. Through its productions, workshops, and participations, Rangmanch will not only enhance the cultural landscape of the university but also play a significant role in the personal and professional development of its members.
SPARSH Cell
Faculty of Education and Humanities has established a ‘SPARSH’ Cell with tagline ‘Give Hands Change Life’ to channelize the collective efforts of students and faculty towards social betterment.It serves as a bridge between the institution and the community. It aims to enhance the impact of our initiatives, ensure transparency, and align with NAAC criteria for best practices.
